If the weather is bad or if you merely want a change to hiking and biking, the following attractions are worth a visit: Krimml Waterfalls (56km), Kitzlochklamm gorge (16 km), Kaprun high mountain reservoirs (22 km), a trip on the Großglockner High Alpine Road (Ferleiten toll booth 14 km) or the Ferleiten wildlife park, which is also 14 km away from our hotel. Your National Park summer card will entitle you to free or greatly discounted entry to many of the attractions listed.

Many prestigious events attract visitors to Bruck am Großglockner in the beautiful Salzburg Pinzgau region against the backdrop of the largest mountain in Austria, so as a guest of our Sporthotel, you truly have a ringside seat! While thousands of cyclists are battling it out for the title of “Glocknerkönig” (Glockner king) in early June, highly polished rare vehicles are on show at the “Oldtimer-Traktor WM”, the vintage tractor world championships. By contrast, you will enjoy the traditional Bruck harvest festival (“Brucker Bauernherbst”) with lots of music, culinary delicacies and colourful “Almabtriebe”, the ceremonial driving down of cattle from the mountain pastures into the valley in Autumn.
